Our internship program enhances education in ground-up multifamily construction by providing practical experience with project management practices, processes, and software to help you develop well-rounded knowledge across multiple areas of construction.

Below is a high-level overview of what you will learn over the course of the program:

Preconstruction

• Explore how conceptual and hard bids are developed
• Practice performing a material take-off
• Join the plan review process

Safety

• Participate in a job site safety standdown
• Complete a mock safety inspection
• Earn your OSHA 10 certification (if you don’t already have it)

Office Operations

• Get certified in Procore project management software
• Understand the permitting process
• Attend a project hand-off meeting

Field Operations

• Accompany inspectors on site visits
• Contribute to schedule review meetings
• Assist with subcontractor coordination

***Interns can expect to spend the first few weeks at our corporate headquarters in Jacksonville, FL learning office operations, then get boots on the ground experience on one of our exciting projects in Orlando OR Tampa for the remainder of the internship.

 What We're Looking For

• Students seeking a career path in the multifamily construction industry (large-scale luxury apartment, HUD, and/or senior living)
• Currently enrolled in a university or trade school program focused on Construction Management or a related field
• Strong preference for Junior or Senior academic level, or equivalent
• Ability to spend 1–2 weeks in Jacksonville for office operations training, with the remainder of the internship on-site at a project in Orlando OR Tampa, FL
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations
